LEEDCertified LEED® Platinum, the highest level available in this sustainability rating, this 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 3,400 SF home is designed to surpass Miami-Dade County hurricane resistance while implementing both active and passive measures to maximize efficiency. Based in Florida vernacular the main living spaces are open to vaulted ceilings which vent to the exterior naturally or assisted by a high volume, low speed fan. Other sustainable measures include a solar PV array at the optimum solar angle, tightly sealed and insulated building envelope, rainwater harvesting and Florida Friendly native landscaping which eliminates the need for irrigation.
